Azelaic Illuminating Serum

Apply 1-2 pumps of serum with your fingertips over your face, décolleté, or problem area, patting it on, and then gently smoothing it out each day and night following thorough cleansing and spritzing of the skin. Resist the temptation to massage, let the formula absorb on its own. You may have a couple of different serums which can be layered (thinnest to thickest) or alternate formulas for day and night as you prefer or as directed.

Follow with your favourite moisturizer and SPF.

+ Azelaic Acid - Offers anti-bacterial and comedolytic benefits. It is a reversible inhibitor of tyrosinase, delivering whitening benefits to the skin.
+ Salicylic Acid - Beta Hydroxy Acid (BHA), provides exfoliation preventing pore clogging and smoothing fine lines/wrinkles, stimulates new cell growth, and reduces inflammation.
+ Ferulic Acid - Plant phenol antioxidant, provides rigidity to plant cell walls, reduces oxidative stress, and reduces damage caused by UV radiation and damage to DNA.
+ Kojic Acid - is used as a skin toner and lightener. It is a by-product of the fermentation process of malting rice. It is a depigmenting agent that targets age spots, by helping to establish an even skin tone.
+ Niacinamide - Amide form of Niacin, involved in cellular respiration, lipid synthesis, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, improves epidermal barrier function, inhibits skin pigmentation, smoothing of fine lines/wrinkles
+ Multifruit® BSC - a concentrated blend of five botanical extracts: bilberry, sugar cane, sugar maple, orange, and lemon. These extracts contain several naturally occurring alpha-hydroxy acids. Alpha hydroxy acids have been shown to promote smoother, younger-looking skin by increasing the rate of cell renewal.
+ Licorice Root Extract - contains glycyrrhizic acid and flavinoids that have soothing, regenerative, and antioxidant properties. Licorice extract is thought to inhibit melanogenesis and is thus used as a skin-whitening agent.
+ Lycopene - Promotes protection against skin-damaging oxidation while contributing to the upkeep of the appearance of healthy skin. It was found that micronutrients such as lycopene were able to show other benefits including better skin moisturization, skin texture, skin elasticity, and skin superficial structure.
